
Meetings
The Society holds five meetings each year on a Friday evening or occasionally in the afternoon at Keen House in Pentonville Road, close to Kings Cross. We normally invite a speaker and the meetings are informal and in a sociable environment. We wecome guests.

How to get there:
Keen House is situated on the right hand side of Calshot Street just past the public house as you enter from Pentonville Road. If the door is locked, please ring lower door bell.
Tea and coffee facilities are available shortly before the meeting.
By rail:
Keen House is a few minutes walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras stations, served by National Rail Services and Victoria, Northern, Hammersmith and City, Circle and Metropolitan Lines. Please note that the Thameslink station in Pentonville Road will be closed from December 2008, although the connecting subway connection to Kings Cross is expected to be retained.
By bus:
Bus numbers 30, 73, 205, 214 and 476 serve Pentonville Road and stop nearby at bus stop PG eastbound or PM westbound.
By car:
Calshot Street is outside the London Congestion Charging Zone but please note that most roads south of Pentonville Road are inside the Zone, although the current operating hours (as at February 2007) cease at 6.00pm.
Parking:
The streets around Calshot Street, both north and south of Pentonville Road (but note Congestion Charging times above) are in Islington’s Controlled Parking Zones B and A respectively. The parking restriction periods for these zones as at February 2007 are:
Mon-Fri 8.30am to 6.30pm / Sat 8.30am to 1.30pm.
